We’ve all heard of him, the patriotic personification of the U.S. government. He’s the man who asks you to fight for freedom. He asks you to unify the United States of America, whether that means going to the battlefield or simply hanging a flag on your front porch. In today’s world, it’s “offensive” to stand for the National Anthem or “bogus” to recall your constitutional rights. But, if Ole Nonc Sam was a real person, I think we can all agree that he’d point a finger and tell them the American way. “Love it or leave it.” Because, those that go to battle for our freedom never ask for anything in return. The least we can do is take pride in our everyday American lives. Remind America that Nonc Sam wants YOU to fight for freedom.
